Never! You pay as you go and you can cancel at any time for any reason.

Find a host and you can start immediately. Once you subscribe, you have instant access to all the materials you need to get started including host training videos. It probably takes about an hour to access the materials and figure it out.

Perhaps it’s someone that works at your bar already, maybe it’s one of your regulars, someone that responds to an ad on Craigslist. It shouldn’t be too hard—it’s a desirable gig, especially when you’re not asking that person to write the games every week.
-
Absolutely. Two people might want to share the gig and then it’s great for when someone’s out of town. Plus, different hosts attract their own crowds, so it works out for the bar too.
-
Totally up to you, but I think $100 is a good place to start. You can always get creative and do credit trades too.

Yes, you’ll need to connect your host’s laptop (wireless or HDMI) to one or more screens. Keep in mind that it’s not critical that everyone in the bar can see the screen perfectly, because your host is also reading the questions.
-
You need a microphone for sure, and ideally, an audio connection for your host so they can play and adjust the volume of the music as needed during the game.
Maybe you already have this equipment or can plug into your house system. I’ve also seen places start with simple portable A/V systems from Costco to test the waters and then upgrade as needed.

No, I will not make partnerships with your neighbors! I limit Trivium partnerships to one in each town, so while you’ll likely be competing against other trivia nights in town, you’ll be the only one to offer this game. And the game is popular, so you might end up converting some trivia teams that grow to prefer Trivium.
